Why wont the sound on My Windows 7 Laptop not work?
On Youtube i have the sound turned up on the Youtube sound bar AND the speakers turned up high but i still hear no sound?

Lost Sound on Windows 7 laptop?
I was watching a movie the sound cut off and then windows media player slowed down. I went to check the volume icon in the tray and to adjust sound but it just flashed the blue thinking circle. Eventually i rebooted the system because no sound ever came back. Now it says no audio output device installed. what do i do? can someone please help?

The “device” is your sound card driver so
Go to the “Control Panel” and click “System and Security” then click on “Device Manager” once Device Manager is open scroll down to the icon that says “Sound, Video and game controllers” and check if the Audio Drivers are enabled, if not then enable them, if they are then check for updates, and also “scan for hardware changes” then your audio should be back to normal. And check the Volume mixer to see if any are muted.
If that does not work then you may have to delete the audio driver and reboot the system which the driver will automatically reinstall itself on your laptop. Which I doubt will be necessary.
By the way don’t use Windows Media Player for movies that aren’t WMV because Media Player usually F*cks up when playing AVI, DVD, MPEG, DIVX files. Use VLC player instead its better at handling movies than Media Player

how do i restore my sound to my windows 7 laptop?
my laptop done a safety shut down because it was low on power and then i plug it in and start it back up and no my sound half way works the laptop speakers don’t work now and the headphone slot works 100% please hellllp!!!!!!!

Go to the little start menu circle and in the search bar type in system restore
this prings it back to a previous update and none of your items will be deleted
